Storage of personal data

Personal data that you send via the enquiry form, by email or by phone is only used for the stated purpose, stored securely and not passed on to third parties. The only exception is the technical hosting of the website (see below). Via the form this means: first name, last name and email address and, if you provide them, phone number, organisation, date of the event, requested keynote, venue, audience, format and your message.

The data is used exclusively to answer your enquiry and to carry out an assignment. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (processing your enquiry and pre-contractual measures).

The data is stored only as long as necessary to process your enquiry and any resulting assignment. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

If you write to us by email, please note: unencrypted email does not offer secure protection for confidential data.

Hosting and form submission via Netlify

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Form data is received and stored by Netlify and forwarded to us by email (Netlify Forms). Netlify processes the data on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement and the EU standard contractual clauses for transfers to the USA. To protect against automated submissions, the form uses a hidden field, not a CAPTCHA.

When you visit the website, Netlify processes technically necessary connection data (IP address, time, requested file, browser type) in server logs in order to deliver and secure the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation).

TLS encryption with HTTPS

This website transmits data encrypted via HTTPS (Art. 25(1) GDPR). You can recognise the encryption by the padlock symbol in your browser's address bar and by the address starting with https.

Cookies and web analytics

This website does not set cookies and does not use web analytics, advertising networks or social media plug-ins. Fonts and scripts are not loaded from third-party servers. The only exception are the videos from YouTube, and only after you click.

Videos from YouTube

Videos from the YouTube service are embedded on this website (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). They are only loaded when you click on the preview image. Your browser then connects to YouTube via youtube-nocookie.com; among other things your IP address and the page visited are transmitted. If you are logged in to YouTube, YouTube can link this data to your account. No data is transferred before the click. The legal basis is your consent by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). The intro film at the top of the page is hosted on our own server; no connection to third parties is made for it.

Appointment booking via TidyCal

The link “Book a 25-minute introductory call” leads to TidyCal, an external booking service. The provider's privacy terms apply there. No data is processed for this on this website itself.

Your rights under the GDPR

You have the following rights:

You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time without giving reasons. Please contact the address above. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at.
